This video shows you how to take the MyHeritage DNA Test step by step. (Spoiler: it’s super easy!)
- Open the box
- Read the enclosed instructions
- Activate your kit at www.myheritagedna.com/setup
- Remove the swab from its plastic cover
- Scrape the inside of your cheek with the swab for 60 seconds
- Open the vial, insert the tip of the swab, and break the swab in the vial at the marked black line
- Leave the swab end inside the liquid in the vial and close the cap tightly
- Place the vial inside the plastic bag, next to the white pad
- Place the plastic bag inside the return envelope
- Pay for postage and ship to our lab at the provided address in the instructions
